Once upon a time, in Nottingham, England, there lived a snail named Jeremy, with a very peculiar physiology, looking for love. A tale ripe for a musical adaptation, yes? I am so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to adapt and write lyrics for Shrew'd!, a world premiere adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew performed at First Folio Theatre in the summer of 2018. Lyrics are by David Rice and myself, with music by Christopher Kriz, directed by Johanna McKenzie Miller, choreographed by Ericka Mac, and featuring Emma Rosenthal and Tony Carter as Bianca and Lucentio.

Check out this clip from a documentary on Prohibition I filmed for the Smithsonian Channel! We spent all day hanging out in a real historic Chicago speakeasy dancing, "drinking", and dressed fabulously :)
